What you will do
- Build client websites (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) from conception to completion, primarily in WordPress. Experience with other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Work directly with the client from kickoff meeting through completion
- Accurately schedule your workload, estimate hours from client specs and communicate progress
- Support the in-house SEO team with on-site edits, re-themes, optimization and development
- Create accessible, dynamic, responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Troubleshoot and fix pre-existing WordPress sites for new clients
What you bring
- Experience building entire features for moderately complex websites or applications using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Two to five years of experience in related web technologies and a portfolio of previous projects
- Advanced WordPress experience; Joomla and Drupal are a plus
- Experience using git for source control
- Photoshop experience required; design skills a plus
- General knowledge of SEO (advanced SEO a plus) and of web standards and accessibility guidelines
- Experience with jQuery and JavaScript; client-side frameworks such as React or Angular are a plus
- Shopify, BigCommerce and AMP experience are a big plus
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and collaborate in a team
Location
We prefer candidates local to Colorado Springs seeking full-time W2 employment. For the right candidate, 1099 remote work at competitive rates would be considered.
